Varnamtown Series :: Giclee Prints
Special limited edition for the Varnamtown project.
A quest to "capture the moments" in Varnamtown, a vanishing culture.
My passion lies in nautical scenes, in particular, those vanishing moments in the life. In particular here the traditional fishing industry that is slowly disappearing, literally one boat at a time. This is due, in part, to commercial and foreign fishing as well as the aging out of those willing to do the work.
Giclee prints, sometimes referred to as Iris prints, are works generated from high resolution digital scans and provide beautiful, museum quality images.
All images from the “On the Water in North Carolina” series will be limited to only 75 giclee print reproductions, plus 5 artist’s proofs.
Canvas giclee prints are limited to 25 prints and are embellished with acrylics by the artist.,
All prints will be delivered with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and will be hand numbered, signed and stamped by Tony Alderman.
